About Us
The JT Foundation Inc. was born out of the urgent need to support Union Island after the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl. What began as a rapid emergency response led by founder Jérémie Tronet has evolved into a long-term mission to uplift the island, support its people, and build a stronger future.
Our foundation is focused on helping those too often forgotten. We develop and run impactful projects that address real needs, from supporting children and schools to providing tools, supplies, and direct aid to vulnerable families. We also invest in environmental efforts, community programs, and disaster preparedness to make Union Island a safer and better place to live.
In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, we raised over 450,000 US dollars and were responsible for most of the urgent response delivered to the islands within 24 hours of landfall. This included organizing emergency flights and helicopters, delivering medicine and food, and launching the first wave of relief efforts that reached every corner of Union Island and Mayreau.
This is not the first time we have stepped in during a crisis. In April 2021, during the La Soufrière volcanic eruption on the main island of St. Vincent, we raised and spent over 50,000 euros in just two weeks to help deliver food and water to affected communities. That experience laid the foundation for the values and structure that guide our work today.
We operate with full transparency. Our directors take no salaries, and all funds raised go directly into the projects. Every dollar is tracked and accounted for with the goal of maximizing the impact of every contribution.
Whether through emergency aid, social support, or environmental action, the JT Foundation is committed to creating lasting, positive change for Union Island and its people.

Real People. Real Impact.
Your donations are treated with the utmost respect and used to directly improve the lives of the people of Union Island. Our directors serve on an unpaid basis, and our employees are compensated according to standard local salaries.
All accounting is fully transparent and reviewed by independent accountants to ensure every dollar is properly tracked. At this time, all donations are processed through our GoFundMe page so donors can publicly see who contributed and follow the overall progress. Offline and direct transfer donations are also added to the GoFundMe total for added transparency.
Donors can choose to sponsor specific projects and receive individual accounting for that project, allowing them to see exactly how their contribution is spent and the impact it is making.
